PROJECT OVERVIEW

Molti’s story began in some of Australia’s most iconic coastal destinations, from Noosa to Byron Bay, shaped by a relaxed way of life and an approach to development grounded in warmth, craftsmanship and a strong sense of place. This coastal character had become part of the company’s identity, giving Molti a personality that felt human, considered and closely connected to the environments in which it worked.

As the business prepared to enter Melbourne, the brand needed to evolve for a more design-conscious urban audience without losing the qualities that had made Molti distinctive. The idea became a meeting of two worlds: coastal roots and urban elegance. Rather than reinventing Molti, the rebrand set out to build on its existing character, giving the business a more refined and confident expression suited to its next stage of growth.

Brand Development

The existing identity became the starting point rather than something to leave behind. The Molti wordmark was refined into a more distinctive expression, retaining familiarity while giving it greater presence and character. The “O” was reworked into a recognisable graphic motif that could move beyond the logo and become a flexible visual element across the wider brand.

Colour followed the same approach. The original palette was refined to create greater contrast and depth while continuing to draw from Molti’s coastal heritage, balancing softer tones with a more urban sensibility. “Made by Molti” was also introduced as a signature for the brand, part stamp and part statement of authorship, creating a simple way to connect every project back to the quality, care and thinking behind the Molti name.

Project Outcomes

The rebrand created a clearer expression of who Molti had become, connecting the character of its coastal beginnings with the ambition of an expanding national business. Its warmth and personality remained intact, now supported by a more refined visual system with the flexibility to work across different markets, project types and locations.

That evolution has become increasingly visible through Molti’s presence in the market throughout 2026. Leading projects such as Heirloom in Kangaroo Point, alongside the launch of its new Melbourne projects, have given the refreshed identity a strong platform across both Queensland and Victoria. The result is a brand that still feels recognisably Molti, but now carries the confidence, distinction and consistency to support where the business is heading next.
