Maritima Brighton presented an exceptional opportunity to create a sophisticated residential brand grounded in place, history and coastal prestige. Built in 1867 as the home of renowned natural scientist Sir Frederick McCoy, Maritima House was later acquired by Xavier College in 1936.
Now thoughtfully restored by Golden Age, Maritima House forms the heart of the estate as an exclusive residents’ clubhouse, framed by its majestic heritage oak. Surrounding this historic centrepiece is a new gated residential community masterplanned by Carr, where refined contemporary townhomes, meandering pathways and shared spaces are woven through lush coastal gardens designed by TCL.
Inspired by the site’s evocative name, Brighton’s colourful bathing boxes and maritime signal flags, we developed a distinctive maritime identity balancing heritage character with Carr’s refined contemporary architecture.
Applied across every campaign touchpoint, the complete design language feels vibrant yet timeless—capturing the elegance, exclusivity and restorative spirit of bayside living.
